National Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) is on Friday 18 May 2018 but unfortunately this is on our pupil free day, therefore this year we will take part on Thursday 17^th of May.   On this day we are asking families to walk to school or take public transport, instead of driving!

 

This community event promotes Road Safety, Health, Public Transport and the Environment.  We also know children who are regularly physically active are healthier, perform better academically and are less likely to be overweight, which can lead to the long-term health issues.  

So c’mon ditch the car and grab your sneakers and walk to school  on Thursday 17^th of May!
